In an effort to keep my (mostly) indoor cat happy and entertained, I've
set up a critter feeding station near the family room windows. I set up a bird feeder (note the green pole in the backgroud) and wired a colander to this little table. So far,
we've seen chipmunks, rabbits, assorted birds, a neighborhood stray
cat, and squirrels. This one is a regular. We call it 'Stumpy',
because of her, well, stumpy tail. Really creative. Here
Stumpy is eating a peanut she pulled out of the food pile. Note her round well-fed belly and her dirty feet (it just rained). After eating all the peanuts she could find, Stumpy
decided to just jump right in. It looks nice, being able to sit in a
big pile of food and just stuff your face and not worry a bit about how
fat your ass is.
